Ames Landscaping is top notch! From the beginning of our project, Cody met us with enthusiasm and full of ideas for our space. He listened closely to what we wanted and was very conscientious to offer solutions that fit within our budget. We had a rather large retaining wall installed, half of a hill removed, grading to our entire backyard to improve drainage, shrubs and plants installed along with a drip line to keep them alive during the summer heat. We had met with two other landscaping companies before Ames and neither came close in knowledge or design ideas. Cody was on site everyday with his crew, working alongside them most days, to finish our project on time. He was very good about communicating the progress each step of the way. Cody is honest and trustworthy and stands behind his work. I would definitely call on Ames for our next project and highly recommend them!

Cody Ames has been taking care of my gardens since they were first planted in 2009.  Cody has a very broad knowledge of plants, which ones go well with which other ones, which ones will work well in this climate, whether they need sun or shade and so on.  He is willing to listen to any suggestions/requests I have and if my ideas won’t work he’ll explain why - tactfully.  He’s always accommodating and very reliable.

We have only positive things to say about Cody Ames, his crew and Ames Landscaping. We contacted Cody, on the recommendation of a friend and neighbor, regarding the installation of a patio and fireplace. We had pictures of what we wanted and Cody fine-tuned it. He drew sketches for us, marked on the lawn exactly where everything would go and picked out all the stone with us. When we wanted a particular look to the fireplace mantle, Cody went out of his way to find exactly what we were looking for. The final result is absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. Cody is someone who stands by his word, would contact us even if he was coming a few minutes after a scheduled time, and was on the job site every day. We are thrilled with our new backyard! Cody turned it from an unusable wet spot to a place we can enjoy and entertain year round.
